Christmas 2017

Our Music Ministry program has been very busy this summer planning for the 2016-2017 season.  This year we are offering seven different opportunities to choose from. Our goal is to provide exceptional musical leadership for every age group and level of musical ability.

Adult Choir — David Kimock
The Adult Choir serves faithfully each Sunday morning at the 10:30AM Mass. This ensemble is committed to deepening the prayer life of the congregation through the art of music. In addition to its role in the spiritual life of the parish community, the choir sings an annual concert each year.  Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:00PM in the Main Church. The first rehearsal of the season is September 6. Membership is open to high school students and adults. For more information on how to join, please contact David Kimock at 215-968-2262, ext. 16 or email at dkimock@stapn.org.

Chamber Choir – David Kimock
The Chamber Choir is a small ensemble that sings advanced music of the choral repertoire from Gregorian chant to American spirituals. The choir sings occasionally at the Saturday, 5:00PM Mass and for special liturgies and concerts. Membership in the Chamber Choir requires a strong commitment to the art, choral singing experience and the ability to read music. Auditions required. Contact David Kimock at 215-968-2262, ext. 16 or dkimock@stapn.org to schedule an audition.

Adult Contemporary Ensemble — Megan Gancarz
Contemporary worship music is the focus of this ensemble. The Folkgroup leads the assembly with an upbeat and energetic style and usually provides music for the 5:00PM Mass on the second Saturday of each month.  Please contact Megan Gancarz at 267-249-3269 or email at meganafrench@gmail.com.

Teen Music Ministry (TMM) — Daniel Beal

They also provide music at our Parish "Festival of Praise" events, a Eucharistic Holy Hour, offered on Thursday evenings, once a month. This ensemble provides opportunities for teens to grow in their faith and become strong leaders of worship. TMM welcomes both singers and instrumentalists, as well as adult volunteers who want to share their musical talents and support the ministry.
