
Adult Choir — David Kimock
The Adult Choir serves faithfully each Sunday morning as worship leaders at the 10:30AM Mass. The ensembleis committed to deepening the prayer life of the congregation through the art of music. In addition to its role in the spiritual life of the parish community, the choir sings an annual concert each year. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings, 7:30 - 9:00PM in the Main Church. Membership is open to high school students and adults.
Chamber Choir – David Kimock
The Chamber Choir is a small ensemble that sings advanced music of the choral repertoire from Gregorian chant to American spirituals. The choir sings occasionally at the Saturday, 5:00PM Mass and for special liturgies and concerts. Membership in the Chamber Choir requires a strong commitment to the art, choral singing experience and the ability
to read music.
Cantors — David Kimock
These volunteer song leaders are trained, liturgical ministers who lead and encourage the assembly in sung prayer at Mass. The cantor also functions as a psalmist, chanting the verses of the responsorial psalm. The cantor not only leads the singing when there is no ensemble present, but leads the parish's largest choir, the congregation.
Folk Group — Fran Roselli
Contemporary worship music is the focus of this ensemble. The Folkgroup leads the assembly with an upbeat and energetic style. Singers and instrumentalists are welcome. The Folkgroup is directed by Fran Roselli, 215-579-9878.
Youth Music Ministry — Daniel Beal
Open to all teenagers of Saint Andrew (9th-12th grade), this group provides music each Sunday (September-June) at the 7:00PM Mass. We invite teens who love singing, anyone that plays an instrument (Guitar, Bass, Drumset, Flute, Violin, etc...)as well as adults able to play instruments. Youth Music Ministry is a great way for teens to grow in their faith and become strong leaders of worship. Rehearsals are held 7:15-9:00PM on Thursdays, and 6:00-7:00PM on Sundays (before mass). XLT (eXaLT) is a term created by Life Teen that refers to a Eucharistic Holy Hour that contains both reflective music and sacred silence. This event is open to all members of Saint Andrew and is held the third Sunday of each month. You can either attend the 7:00PM Mass and stay afterwards, or you can come at 8:00PM for the XLT (Eucharistic Holy Hour)
if you have already attended Mass at a time other than 7:00PM.
Youth Choir — Megan French
The Youth Choir is open to children in grades 4-8. The choir sings various liturgies throughout the year, as well as Christmas, Easter and special occasions. The choir also participates in the annual choral concert. Rehearsals are held on Mondays, 5:30-6:15PM, October - May, in the Main Church. Cherub Choir — Megan French
The Cherub Choir is open to children in grades 1-3. This ensemble serves as a training choir where the basics of music and singing are taught. The Cherub Choir will sing Mass once a month, and perform in the annual Christmas Concert. Rehearsals are held on Mondays, 4:30-5:15PM, September - May in the Children's Room of the Main Church.
