Our Mission:
1. Bringing meals to families during an emergency or crises
2. Driving people to Mass on the weekend
3. Driving people to various errands and medical appointments
4. Visiting shut-ins and those in Nursing Homes

H.O.P.E. is a group of concerned volunteers who are willing to help others. We serve those in the geographical boundaries of the of Saint Andrew Catholic Church.

We do not have meetings as such.
We have approximately 230 volunteers who are primarily contacted via email.
We are divided into 6 teams and we average 40 tasks per week.

During 2016 the HOPE volunteers provided:
850 meals to our care receivers, drove care receivers 257 times to Mass, 297 trips to Doctor appoinments, performed 275 errands & 297 visits to the homebound or Nursing homes.

Blood Drive

An estimated 38 percent of the population is eligible to give blood, but only about 8 percent of those eligible give. The need for blood is constant, so bring a friend and make a difference.

To schedule an appointment for Red Cross Blood Drive, email JoAnn Marotto at
joannmarotto@gmail.com. Please include your name, address, phone number and donation time you prefer. Appointments begin at 10:00AM, continue every fifteen minutes with the last appointment at 7:45PM. You may also sign up online at redcross.org and locate Saint Andrew Church Blood Drive.

Plastic bottle lids and caps (water bottles, detergent bottles, etc. ) and aluminum tabs (soda cans, canned foods, etc.) are collected on the day of each drive. Tabs can also be deposited in the container found in the Information Room of the Main Church. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia collects the tabs for Ronald McDonald House. All donations are appreciated.

Pheresis Drive (2 hour process)
This is the 2-hour platelet collection. To donate platelets, call JoAnn Marotto, 215-968-0543, for an appointment.

“I tell you solemnly. In so far as you did this (feed the hungry, etc.)
to one of the least of my brothers of mine, you did it to Me”.
