Extraordinary Ministers

Extraordinary Ministers serve the faith community by distributing the
consecrated bread and/or wine to Parishioners during Mass and to our
homebound. Some ministers conduct Communion Services and visit
residents in nursing homes.


Requirements for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

The requirements for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion include:
a) They must be exemplary Catholics and have a strong devotion to and love for Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament;
b) They must be eighteen (18) years of age or older;
c) They must have received all three Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist)
d) If married, they must have had a valid marriage in the Roman Catholic Church.

All candidates are subject to the approval of Msgr. Picard and will be asked to attend a 90-minute training session.

Tuesdays, after Adoration, 7:00
PM, Main Church
All Extraordinary Ministers are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to pray as a group before the Blessed Sacrament.
