Inviting Catholics Home
To those of our parish members who have been away from the Church for a short or long time, we want you to know that you are missed, loved and really needed among us as members of the Body of Christ. Your pastor, priests and fellow
parishioners invite you to be an active part of us again. Please let us know what it would take. What would be helpful to you?

In addition, we have some hopes and plans to welcome you back and we’d like to share them with you.
Please contact Sister Pat Kelly, 215-968-2262, ext. 51. Also, you may want to review the following websites:

Evangelization at Work . . .

For two weekends in March, Saint Andrew Parishioners served in new ways:
at a meal-packing event of Catholic Relief Services and Stop Hunger Now, sponsored
by Saint Vincent Church in Richboro, and at Fatima Outreach Center in Bensalem

Several Saint Andrew Parishioners volunteered at the
meal –packing event in hopes to learn the process and to consider having an event at Saint Andrew Parish. They gave an overwhelming “Yes!” for doing the program at Saint Andrew in the future. In two hours, and with over
60 volunteers, 10,200 meals were prepared for the people in Bukina Faso, West Africa. The program director said that on that same day, 15 such events were in process in the general metropolitan area. Evangelization team member, Roger Seasock, was amazed at the organization of the process and its great value for so many people. You will see a bit of that effective process in pictures supplied by Theresa Leinker. Saint Andrew Parishioners, watch for the date when Saint Andrew will sponsor this fun and life-saving program.

Community spirit was alive on Service Saturday, Saint Joseph’s Day at Fatima Outreach Center in Bensalem. Saint Andrew Volunteers and members of the Bucks County Catholic Club helped paint the former food pantry and sorted clothing donations for the new clothing boutique. Parishioner M’lu St George said: “What a great way to celebrate Saint Joseph, helping families! I met parishioners I didn’t know and finally got to put my talent of ‘painting prep’ to good use!” Fatima Outreach Center is a joint venture of Saint Mary Medical Center and of Archdiocesan Catholic Social Services. The Center was dedicated in 2014 and was the former Our Lady of Fatima Church. Community relations manager for Catholic Social Services, Kristen Kraunelis, said “The joyful assistance provided by the volunteers will be remembered fondly. Thank you for sharing your time, efforts, and generous spirits to support us in this mission.”
